Indonesia is really different from New Zealand. It's much warmer at the moment and the people here is poor but seem happy. I love it to travel in a basic style in this friendly atmosphere and I try to speak in Indonesian language. As you know its hard to learn a new idiom, sometimes it's difficult to tell and express wat I'm thinking.........Fortunately some people speak English. Of course not original Britisch English :-), but I hope my language skills still improving.
I rent a Motorbike in Bali. So I can move independentely where ever and when ever I feel like. One time I had a small accident in the mountains when I drove downhill with my heavy laguage on the back. The road was rocky full of wholes and quiet steep. The dry sand on it made it very slippery. While I was breaking all the time I moved my hand and I touched the gas a little bit, so I fell down. After washing my blessure in a river I drove to the famous Scuba diving resort in Amed. There I met local people who helped me to clean and I spend a few days with them...........
I've been surfing , trekking on volcanos and snorkeling on the quiet coasts. I like to change activities in different environments from Jungles over volcanos and mountainareas, ricefields, wildwave-coasts until to colorful riffs in beautyful beachs.....3 days ago I passed the exam for the international Open Water Diving Licens. During this course I felt like a maremaide in the amazing Seaworld. I saw many kind of fishs. One of my highlights was the shark and a big turtle, more over the rare cute small seahorse............
